Jerad Gardner, M.D.Dr. Gardner is a dermatopathologist and bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathologist. He is Associate Professor of Pathology and Dermatology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, where he is also the dermatopathology fellowship program director and the musculoskeletal/skin module co-director for the College of Medicine. He is a national/international lecturer on bone and soft tissue tumors, skin disease, and professional use of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. He is an active volunteer member in a variety of sarcoma and other rare disease patient support groups on Facebook. Dr. Gardner obtained his MD from Tulane University in New Orleans, completed residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Houston Methodist Hospital, and completed fellowships in bone/soft tissue pathology (under Dr. Sharon Weiss) and dermatopathology at Emory University in Atlanta.
