Rebecca Levy, M.D., received her medical degree from Texas A&M University and went on to complete a preliminary year of general surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Levy realized her true interest was pathology and completed her anatomic and clinical pathology training at Baystate Medical Center in western Massachusetts.

Following residency, Dr. Levy finished a surgical pathology fellowship, with an emphasis on gastrointestinal pathology, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a hematopathology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. She became a faculty member of the Department of Pathology at UAMS in July 2014. Dr. Levy practices pathology at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she serves as the medical director of the hematology, coagulation and special coagulation laboratories.

Her research interests include eosinophilic esophagitis, acute leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes.
